Dr. Waldrep says there is good research around eating according to your circadian rhythm rather than the prevailing wisdom of eating within an hour or two of waking. Based on your circadian rhythm, your first meal might be at 9:00 am or it may not be until noon. Along with the circadian rhythm method of eating, there is a recommendation to work toward a 9 hour eating window that may help you consume fewer calories and extend your life.
5. A support group of your peers.
